    Outstanding Gray!
I always enyoy seeing your work.
I always amazed at your clouds. And I know you have said it before that they are a mixture of vector and rastor graphics. May I ask what rastor program you use or does it really make any difference to the final outcome?

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Thanks, Larry. I use the paint brushes out of an old 10+ year old program called GIF5. Any paint program with layers could be used. The newer paint programs would be much easier to use, I just haven't got around to upgrading my software. When I update my computer I'll probably renew everything.

Fantastic job Gray, there is nothing like a great drawing of a Old Warbird, also a bonus of a great history lesson to go with the drawing.

    Stunning, as always Gray.

Your art always pique's my interest & elicits an inquisitive response from me. I thought it was a familiar design, but it wasn't a name (Welkin - the vault of heaven) I was aware of. In running a search, I see it was derived from the Whirlwind which I was familiar with.

The sheer thought process in deriving an aircraft for a perceived threat & hold it in reserve, at a time when they were up against it, typifies the resolve they had. I guess they could allow the Nazis to tie up resources developing the HA bombers always knowing they had a counter to it...the mind boggles.
