DEAD SNAIL SLOW!!!

I'm running Designer Pro 7 on Windows 7 64-bit without any slow down. Others are also on Win7 64-bit without problems. Shape Shifter and Gary Priester are two of them.

Tell us more about your system. Are you using an Administator account? Is UAC active? What security software are you running?

My xara 7 also snail slow on W7 Ultimate 64 bit. Checked all the page options to defaults, no speed at all. Also opened the design in Xara 6 works ok speed. Exported the art into Illustrator CS5, works fast, no problems. The art is about a dozen vector pine trees with a gradient on top, the trees are small.

Most users with W7-64 don't experience general speed problems with Xara Designer 7. It's more likely to be an issue with the specific drawing.

Can you post your artwork here so that we can examine it, please?

The keyboard shortcuts work moving objects, maybe the cordless mouse the problem. The wacom intuos tablet is slow. At ten years old the wacom's like me, a bit gray! The high gloss wood desktop with a cordless mouse, keep checking. Got to be something...
