copying content from one .xar file to another

I am seeking to change the look of a website by changing to a new template. I have a number of pages in the old site which I am dreading having to re-create from scratch because of the multiple layers of pop-up videos they contain.

Is there a way to copy the contents of these multi-layer pages to the new template?

I just tried this in Web Designer 6 and it works. But I am not sure about multiple layers.

Select the page you want to copy and then Edit > Select All, then Edit > Copy.

Go to the new page in your new document and Edit > Paste or Edit > Paste in Place.

As an upgrade incentive, Designer Pro 7 has a new feature Copy Page and then an Edit > Paste Page which will also do what you are asking.

Thanks. I have Designer Pro 7 but had not noticed the option you have pointed out.
