Am in a drawing retreat (yes, Buddhists have the nicest excuses to have fun ) at the moment, working on an image of the Medicine Buddha and four Dakinis).
This is one of the Dakinis I am working on right now.

Beautiful Fred. The colour mix works for me, nice combo & quite uplifting. There is a non filled circle (behind the 'head'), will that be the sun?

That will (or better 'is' a head aura) . This is the current version where it is drawn in.

Absolutely stunning piece, Fred. A wonderful and harmonious blend of old and new art influences, I'd venture.

Yep, it's all done based on tradional grids and along traditional paths. There is a longer thread on TG where I explain 'the making of' in finer detail. You might want to have a look there.
