http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif We are having a problem in that the mouse-over effects on menus are not functional with Internet Explorer with MAC.

Are you aware of this problem, and is there anything to fix the problem? There are no problems, with my site, with IE/Netscape and Windows.

    Thanks
    Brian

    I've run into 2 problems:

    1) As you mention, using I.E. on the Mac truncates the first letter off the sub-menus.

    2) The latest version of Webstyle (4.0) doesn't hold sub-menus in place long enough for a selection to be made (I think it may be a mouseover/mouseoff problem. It does, however, work in Webstyle 3.1 (Thank God I did't remove it when I installed 4.0!)

I was told that webstyle gallerys do not support IE on Mac because microsoft is no longer going to develop IE for Mac, so Xara isn't either.

That's why the photo gallery wont work on some Mac machines.

It seems to be a bit hit and miss as far as macs are concerned. With a combination of holding down mouse buttons and swift movement, I managed to make my nav bars work on a mac with IE, but with Safari, which is supposed to be supported, it wouldn't work at all. Sub-menus jumped across the screen making it impossible to use. Hmm. Om the plus side, Xara got back to me quickly syaing I could have my money back If I wanted. The trouble is, I like this software, and I want it to work.

I have a web site for our school district. Three schools and over 700+ files designed in Xara Webstyle.I had version 2.0. Then upgraded my Windows Me to XP, upgraded Dreamweaver 4 to MX, and upgraded Webstyle to 4.0. We are 90%+ Macs at our school and the web styles do NOT work on Macs. The nav bar menus are jumping all over the place and you can't click on the links. It shows up perfectly when viewing from a pc. Is there any fix to this? I have a meeting scheduled next month to show them our site and this is one big mess! I have uninstalled and reinstalled and redesigned over and over. It doesn't work! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/mad.gif Thanks kfredette
