    Hello guys,

BlondMedia is a web design company.
They are looking for a "saturated" logo, 2-3 Pantone, full color is ok also. That's all.

Can you give me some ideas or critics my current samples?

    Thanks,

I think all examples have some good qualities.

However, when I hear the English word "blond" I get a mental image of blond (gold or light-sandy) colored hair. What about incorporating a "blond" color somehow in your graphics?

    Hi Alexander

I like the name "Blond Media" and I like the line "Bright Design Ideas". To me there is a wonderful playfulness about it that speaks creativity. Here in North America, at least, there is a stereotype that blonds aren't too bright -- totally without merit of course but very much a part of western pop culture. I'd suggest making the reference to "dumb blonds" much more forceful. One idea is to adapt the famous Marilyn Monroe head shot (with mock modesty over her exposed cleavage) made famous be Andy Warholl into the logo. Do you know the image I'm refering to? Warholl used silkscreening so the image is very posterized. I'm not suggesting copying Warholl but playing on the iconic pop art look that could be strongly graphic.

    Regards, Ross

Here's one of Andy Warhol's images of MM. And here's another and another. Here's something artsy someone did with one of Andy's images.

And for good measure here's another. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Maple and ash are sometimes referred to as "blonde". See attachment. Maybe a wood fill.

I like design 1 the best. I do not understand what is happening in the Blond Media type. You have clipped something in the type but it is not clear what it is.

I'd vote for number #1, however, it looks like a needle and thread being woven through the name, which has nothing to do with a web design company.

I think that the thing I don't like about #1 is that as a hairdresser blonde hair with green in it is not a good thing (person swims in chlorinated water to much) I realize that it's a different spelling and is for a different field but it still turns me off! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Possibly change it to gold instead of green I would bend more towards #1.

#2, is just very cool looking and it's not so abstract looking to me and gets the message across.
