Default Nav button to nav bar?

If one uses the nav bar templates, you have mouse over with them.

If you start with a rectangle, add text, soft group and then "create a nav bar" you do not have the mouse over.

How do you make it act just like the nav bar templates?

Also, the mouse over with the nav bar templates do not have text on them - how does one put a label on these mover overs?

Put a copy of the button on the mouseover layer and change the colour or something.

...and then once you have two button groups, from the Arrange menu, select Apply Soft Group. Then add a link. If you just want to test the button (the rollover will not work without a link) add # in the URL box. This just loads the same page.

Ah, tks, Gary. Don't know if that is what I was doing wrong but I soft grouped the single button. - jb
