Can't import .eps file

I'm running DP6, love it btw... but I cannot figure out if I'm doing something wrong or if my software has issues since importing .eps files results in these errors. Pic is provided to illustrate.

Or perhaps the question should be can you import .eps files, if so, how? Thank you!

If there were only one flavor of EPS there would not be a problem. I have had pretty good luck importing EPS files but I have also seen this error for some problem files.

If the EPS file is not that large, can you attach it here and one of us can try to run it through Illustrator and then create a PDF for you to work with. I think the maximum size for an EPS attachment is 2MB.

If the file is larger than this but under 7MB e-mail it to me (gary@gwpriester.com) and put something in the Subject line that will alert me to the fact that this is a problem EPS file and not spam. And I'll have a look.
