Why is it a stereogram?

If you know how to view stereograms you cross your eyes a little and look beyond the objects. In this one the 2 moons pop out at me and hover in.
We could always ask Gary the expert if this qualifies as a stereogram.

I usually have little trouble viewing most stereo-grams, occassionally one catches me out.

"Jim, it's not a stereogram as I know it" - not one that's doing anything for me, I'm afraid.

Hopefully others will do better than me!

I cannot make to appear as a stereogram regardless of how I try to view it. The circles do not seem to float above or below the background.
