Default Linear transparency on EVERY shape drawn?

I don't know what I did to cause this, but on a new website I just started working on, every rectangle or circle that I draw comes up with a linear transparency already in it. Any thought as to what is causing this?

Please check if you have set to every new object created receives last object attributes.
I´m attaching a picture showing that attribute in configuration page, if you have it checked please uncheck it.
    I hope it works.
    Best regards

Yeah, this is Version 6 that I'm using. Thx for the link, that helped. I should have known to do that. Sometimes that feature is very beneficial while working, but in this case I needed that changed. Appreciate it.
I want to still be working in this program when I'm an old man sitting in my recliner.

If you set a transparency but do not apply it to anything, then this becomes the default. But only as long as the document is open. After you close the document then it reverts back. Same with fill, line width, etc.
