Default Designer Pro 6 - Change Colour of Existing logo on website

    Hi Guys,

I have a logo - It is just 2 colours and made up of two words (as below) - the second part of the text is not the correct colour, is there a way I change change just that colour to be a little bit deeper colour without affecting the other single colour?? The colour I want to adjust is the "Plast" part.

I am using Designer Pro 6

The "best" way is to get the original font and do it in a "vector-based" fashion... you could also manually trace the letters of the word...

but, I'm guessing you want something quick and easy...

    1. copy the logo twice
    2. on the second logo crop down to just the second word
    3. pick your color fill tool and change the color selection to the dark contone (the center apex of the color pick)
    4. pick a darker color
    5. you are not going to get a true color - and I tried... it's a bit hard to get a darker version of that color
    6. since my modified "plast" was a bit washed out I copied it twice on top of itself and set the transparency on those copies to "stained glass"
