Hiding layers

In the "Page and Layer" gallery it has the "solo" button, the "eye" to make something visible or not and the "lock" button.

I can get the solo and lock to work but the visible or not visible does not work.

I can get the same effect by clicking on solo on layer 1 but that makes all the other layers invisible.

Any reason why I can't get each layers visible button to work? - jb

Not sure what product you are using but in some versions you need to select another layer other than the one you want to be invisible then you can make any other layer invisible.

Tks, Gary - I am using D6 Pro.

I have been working on one page with a lot of stuff on it and on that page the "eye" works. But to test some things out, I started with a clean page and only have 4 things on it on 4 layers and the "eye" does not work. Strange - but it works on the main page so I can live with it. - jb
