Text disappears going from designer to web page preview

I put a text box on a page, but when I click on page preview, it disappears. Anyone have an idea about what's happening?

Have you put the text box on the MouseOver layer perhaps? Or an invisible layer?

I don't believe I have, but how would I know?

Attach your design file (.web file) and we'll check it for you.

Or select the text in design mode and look down at the lower left side of the program window. You should see a status like "One text box selected on layer PopItUpNow". That will tell you where your text is.

If it's not in the right place, select the text object, go the layer gallery, select the layer you want it to move to (probably mouseoff), right click the now-selected destination layer and choose "move to current layer". That should get it in the right place.
