Is Photo & Grapohic Designer version 6.1.1 usable in Frontpage?

I just bought & downloaded Xara's Photo & Graphic Designer 6.1.1 and wondering if it is compatible with my version of Frontpage2002? I ask this, since I once bought Xara Webstyle and it acted as a built-in component with my Frontpage2002? Can Photo & Graphic designer also work in this manner? Curious

Xara Photo & Graphic Designer can create complete web pages and web sites. It can not be used as a built-in component to any software, only as a stand-alone web page design program.

Much appreciated John. Wow...I initially purchased P+GD6 as soley an alternative to Photoshop 6.0 as I am a fulltime cartoonist. My index page here will tell it all and now I am wondering how best to incorporate P+GD6 with my Frontpage2002 which is what I initially designed my site with? Can photogalleries be created in P+GD6 and somehow used WITHIN or in conjunction with FP page? (been fulltime for well over 30+ years)

I don't think there is a practical and useful way of incorporation P&GD web features with Frontpage. But of course, you can use P&GD generated graphics and flash files.
However, looking at your site, I think it would be quite easy to create it entirely, and much graphically improved, in P&GD.
Photogalleries can be created in P&GD as a part of exported web pages. But not used within Frontpage.

Basically, Xara web export is strictly stand alone feature. It was not designed to be used with other web authoring tools.
I would suggest you to try to re-create your site in P&GD. If may be easier and better experience than working with FP.

Also, P&GD6 web functionality is a bit restricted, being on level with WebDesigner 5. If you'd like an idea of having your site made in Xara, I would suggest using recently released WebDesigner7 or WebDesigner7 Premium.

Great info John. I had considered Xara's other web editors but looking at all that'd be involved, I'm not sure I want to dive in to all of it at this point. currently have a few illustration projects I'm juggling so I'd need to take time out and really look into it with a clear moind and all. I still want to sit down and really digest the basics for P+GD6 though....I have tried a few things....nothing much yet. Can you recommend a good link - tutorial for a starter?
Also, since I purchased and downloaded it yesterday, will Xara then mail me the hardcopy disk via airmail over the next week or so? I know that they did this with WebStyle3 when I purchased it and it's nice to have that hardcopy sooftware handy. Please advise when you are not busy.

Since web functionality of P&GD6 is the same as of Xtreme 5 and Web Designer 5, you can learn some of it from the XaraXone tutorials for X5/WD5:

Since you have P&GD6 already, you can try some basics of page and website creation to see if you like it, and to decide whether to to use it for your site or not. If you decide to do so, I would suggest you to get WD7 or WD7P because they have much better web functionality and templates than WD5 or P&GD6.

Much appreciated on all of the link tutorials. I have bookmarked for my learning. Grateful indeed! Yes, I'd like to someday rip apart and restructure my site and sub pages. So all of this is being taken into consideration John. I may have (in fact WILL) questions in the future...hope you are here. I entered my business mailing address into the Xara boxes when buying & downloading P+GD6 yesterday...will they follow that up with the hardcopy disk in a box via air mail? I assumed so...just wondering. In the meantime, let me peruse. Again, thanking you very much.

You mentioned Web Designer7 and premium as potential web editors to consider....do they have a photogallery component? I.e., is there a special link, tutorial or page I can go to? Let me know. There are so many pages to sidft through and thought I'd ask.....any assistance and constructive criticism is appreciated. This would be for displaying my images.....also can you put image tags pr keyword images directly in the program? Curious! Thanks....

Thank you Neodeist. OK....I downloaded trial of WebDesigner7 and am curious as to what part I'd navigate to, to look at and build a "pseudo-photo gallery"...do I first go up to EDIT? Or FILE?
