creating photo fades/flash

Hello new guy here...well not so new just new for this location.
I am trying to create a web page for the wife (happy wife happy life) and the static templates work great and are very easy (so far) but the wife wants images on the first page that fade in a loop....about 5 photos that will loop in sequence.......I cannot for the life of me work out how to do it.
If anyone can give me the step by step that would be great. (remember I'm old and not tech savy) thanks.

You can try the Xara animation feature, or just use this free site to make the flash file.
