    Default Changing pasteboard color

I'm working on a web page and the help index says to drag and drop a color to the pasteboard. Sounds easy but I can't get it to work. I can only drop a color on the page background. I want to match my pasteboard and page background. I'm using Graphic Designer 6.

    Thanks, Dave

After I posted I was shown similar threads which seemed to say that this is not possible in this version. I guess I will be looking forward to upgrading to WD7

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Dave

Xara Photo and Graphics Designer does not support colored backgrounds. Web Designer 6 and 7 and Xara Designer 6 do. So this is probably the source of your confusion. Too many products with too many similar features.

Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 6 has the web features of Web Designer 5.

I know many people do not specify which version their post relates to. It would be nice if everyone would add a tag to their post indicating which version they are using.

Thanks guys. I was just going by the help index which i guess isn't very product specific. Anyway, I just downloaded the WD7 trial and that seems to be the ticket.
