Default Under-Over shapes converted to fish

Been doing a few under over celtic type knot things lately. The final one was of a chain link fence (not at all easy to create) which I then used as a mould to create a fish image. Very odd

The water background water photo isn't mine. I copied it from the internet

Most excellent chain link fence...fish ain't bad, either! But the fence does it for me. Shadow is as perfect as it gets for providing the right amount of depth.

    Well, well done.

Cheers Mike. Ive been doing several of these over-under drawings and I've been using named colours but something I haven't used a lot until now are Live Copies. I really enjoy how you can just alter a single copy and all copies update. However it does tend to slow my machine down which is very rare when using Xara. (Note: That's when I start using them in a mould which I suppose can be expected)

Thanks for the exploded view, Egg. I think I'll have a play later tonight.

I'm having a problem with the shadow on the fence as well.

Quite correct Gary, a chain link fence wouldn't cast a drop shadow, unless there was something behind it, just some artistic licence. Mine was the glass on the fish tank
