    Thanks Dmagician. You are right. I use layers and it works better when some layers are inactive.

    trying new brush and another trial. The design is copied from picture shown in the magazine.

    Isn't XaraX the ONLY vector program (except RealDRAW, but that's different) that can render vector brushes?
    All these pictures are very well done and very creative, this is a great new feature to X no?

    Steve -- No. FreeHand 10 and CorelDRAW both have brush cabalities. Only Xara has implemented the brush to a much greater degree supporting transparency, line shaping, and a lot more control over all.

    I'm not sure about Canvas either. I'm doing a review of version 8 next month so I'll get back when I have taken it out of the box.

    Katsu -- your images are beginning to look like ink on wet paper.

    for those who are interested in my brush attached is the way I created. Please note I had experienced sometime the error and the data was gone.

    Thanks for comments Steve and Gary.

    Gray: Yes that is the finish I wanted to make in XX. My trial of brush then started. I know it will be more easier to use other software but I wanted it in XX. Although the finish is not perfect but is acceptable for me at moment.
