Default Re: Sepia Treatment for Photo?

The first response to my question back at the beginning of this thread came from mwenz, who highly recommended a plugin for WPD6 (I know realized he mentioned which program he used) called Virtual Photographer. He sent a link for it. At least one person has commented along the path of the thread on how much he liked the plugin so I thought I would try it. Since this thread happens in the Xara section under Web Design, I assumed (maybe incorrectly) that all of us were using Xara Web Designer or maybe XPD6. As I said, there's no end to my ignorance so maybe I made some wrong assumptions.

In any case, I'd still like to know whether a specific destination folder needs to be chosen when plugging in Virtual Photographer into XPD6.

in xpd6 - you can reference any plugin folder by going to:

utilities > options > effects & plugins tab

    click setup
    add the folder in question
    tick enable host specific plugins
    click ok
    click apply

no idea in WD I don't use it, sorry

    Joe,
You don't need a plugin to set the contone colors but if you wantg to try that plug-in out. Pun the Virtual Photographer setup, set the destination to
    C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara_Designer_Pro_6\Xara Picture Editor\PSplug-ins
At least that is where mine is located.
It will show up in live effects optikVerve labs.
Or use handran's suggestion. Both work

    Larry's covered this post #15

I like this plugin a lot - don't use it much any more, but only because I don't do this sort of work these days
