    Default Dropbox for hosting

Various people here have mentioned Dropbox for exchanging and syncing files, but I have discovered that some basic website hosting is possible.

Put web pages in the public folder of your Dropbox folder, right-click on the index.htm file to copy the public link and then email the link to clients or friends, or set a domain to forward to it. And you have a live site!

Interesting idea. I used Dropbox for a while to exchange files with someone who was helping me out. But I resented the invasive nature of Dropbox and got rid of it as soon as the project was completed.
