    Hi Dante,

Do you mean making a spinning die, with all six sides of the cube showing different numbers of dots? I'm pretty sure you can only apply one bitmap texture, but if I'm wrong and there is a way to put six in there, I would like to know too.

If you mean making a still image of a 3D die, from one angle - showing two or three faces, that can be possible, but I will wait to hear about what you are trying to do.

Just a quick question, James. Why are you quoting the OP's message in full? It makes even an interesting thread tedious to read. I always thought that doing this was generally frowned upon.

Just a mistake, Bob. Hope you didn't lose any sleep over it.

Yes, I want to make a spinning die.
It is possible I saw, look at this thread:

But I don't understand the explanation..
Can you help me with that?

Hello, Dante, I once made a spinning die in 3d using Xara3D, in response to an almost identical question.

This is the thread, and it contains a tutorial in two parts on how to make the animation. In this instance I didn't use textures but used holes in the flat surfaces to represent the dots of the dice. Have a look and see if it helps.

Thanks simsmj, thats what I'm looking for.
One question: How can I subtract the holes in the faces?
I'm new in Xara Extreme, always used Paint Shop

Edit: Never mind, you have already explained that....
to subtract one shape from another, select both shapes, with the circle to the front, and then press Ctrl-2, or use the Edit-Combine Shapes-Subtract Shapes menu selection. To subtract multiple circles from a square, first select all the circles (hold shift and left mouse-click on each circle) and add them together (Ctrl-1), then select the square as well, and subtract the new multi-circle object from it with Ctrl-2.
