Good Morning,

Lovely page. Love the paintings, such vibrant colours! I started out with Corel Draw and have been using Xara for my vector art for many years. In fact I hosted the original Xaraxone website before Gary took it over and turned it into something really special! Remember Gary?

Well, this could be interesting then because I had planned to convert the Noecker Travel site to a CMSimple template. The customer would like to update the content regularly and there will be many more pages, by the sounds of it, but not a huge site and no on-line sales, just info. I'll be meeting with her tomorrow so we'll see if she wants to go to the expense of purchasing the software and then having me help her staff learn to use it.

The New CMSimple comes with many new features including a photo gallery and stats built right in. The great thing about CMSimple is that it is just that. VERY simple and VERY easy to use and teach to customers who want to update their own info on small websites. It doesn't use a database and just creates an HTML file for the site. I love it and have used it for a few sites now.

A few paying customers:

http://www.beryldawson.ca

The one I do for free for our building:
http://www.wyndhamplace.ca/

And, of course, the one I do for the Church:
http://www.efuuc.org/
I choose that for the Church because it IS so simple that I could teach other members to easily update it, thereby sharing the work load.

CMSimple is also free and open source and I find it much easier for my customers to learn than Joomla. I have a few sites in that too and was learning how to use it. In fact I put my own site in Joomla during the learning curve. Of course now I'm using Designer Pro for the exact same thing so look for a new design for my site soon.

I will post my progress to this thread.

Have a wonderful day!
Catharina
