Future Feature: Replace Bitmap From Clipboard

Just hit me - what a HUGE time saver it would be if I could do image replacements from the clipboard/pasteboard rather than saving the image as a file, opening up the file location, dragging the file onto the image to be replaced, and then confirming the change.

Just have a right-click option under "Replace Bitmap" that offers 2 options:
- Replace from File
- Replace from Clipboard

Voila! Instantly swap out images without the extra leg work!

Unless I am missing something (and I usually am) you can hold down the Shift key and drag and drop an image from the desktop, Windows Explorer, or the Bitmap Gallery onto an existing bitmap to replace the image. You also have the option if the image you are replacing appears more than once, and if instead of the Shift key, you hold down the Ctrl key, to replace just the single instance of the bitmap or all instances.

Keep in mind though that when you replace one bitmap with another this way, if the aspect ratios are different, the resulting image may be distorted.
