XDP6 - Select By

Is there a way to select shapes by Color? (like in Corel Draw)

you could try 'used colours' in the name gallery

[i don't know how that compares to corel]

Although for my situation it won't work.

I have traced a bitmap, and boke it apart. Mant shades of grey.
Now trying to select all the hundreds of pieces by color, but there is no color yet recognized by XDP6.

try exporting your traced bitmap as a pdf

close designer

reopen designer and import the pdf

are the colours now in the name gallery?

Yes, that worked. The Shape is assigned "Unnamed" to the colors.
The imported graphic seems to be placed in a Clip Container, so I removed it like this:

Arrange> Convert to editable Shapes
Arrange> Break Shapes
