WD6 Fit to Screen Web Page

This is the first time I'm using Xara's Web Designer, and I'm trying to figure out how to make my pages fit to screen at any resolution.

Before when using Dreamweaver, I've been setting up tables for my sites to fit on any screen/resolution. Is there a feature like this on Xara?

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

Xara Web Designer centers the page (horizontally) in the browser. It does not scale the page to the browser window. The page is static. The area around the page fills in behind the page.

The best suggestion is to design a page size that will work for most browsing environments.

Here is a link to Browser Display Statistics that will give you some idea of what percent of the browsing audience is using what resolution. I would design for your audience.

BTW, websites that scale to fit the full browser window tend to be the exception because it's difficullt to keep the web design aesthetically pleasing and have the page fit all kinds of aspect rations. Most websites are of a fixed size.

If the feature is important to you, I'd stick with DreamWeaver.
