Default How to change the shape of a font letter

Is there a way in Xara DP to type text and then change a letter so that it has handles on it and can be moulded to a different shape somehow?

Like for example, taking a font thats not cursive and linking some of the letters, or taking a P and turning it into a B

Thanks for any assistance. I cant figure out how to do it.

There are quite a few ways to do this but they all revolve around changing the font into a shape by holding down "Shift+Ctrl+S" all at the same time. If it a "P" to "B" then hold down "Ctrl+K" to clone it and then select both and hold down "Ctrl+1" to combine both shapes then you can use the Shape Editor Tool, "F4" to edit you shape to the B that you want.
    Design is thinking made visual.
