I am trying to do a blend on a curve/path. I want the blend to orient with the path.

I know how to do this, but the problem I am having is that if I use a bitmap the bitmap tiles/rotates. If I use a vector object it does just find.

Does anybody know how to do this without the tiling/rotate.

Unfortunately, this is a bug. I informed Xara about that a long time ago, but that was already too late after they were busy on patches. But they replied they have noted it and it will be solved probably in next release.

    Friendly,

There is a long way to do what you want to do and you may have figured it out aleady.
Convert the bitmaps to editable shapes
    Make the blend
Apply the blend to a curve
Convert to editable shapes and ungroup
Now you can grab the fill handle by the center and move it into place.

It seems Xara rotates the bitmaps but forgets to move the centers.

Thanks for the tip. A little more work, but at least it does work.

Create a brush from the bitmap. Draw the curve with the brush or apply brush to existing curve.

Adjust spacing and remove tiling of the bitmap.

Thanks, I have not thought about doing it that way.
