Text Stretching / Distortion

Sorry guys - I'm VERY new to Xara and trying hard LOL :-)

Today's problem relates to text distorting when I change the size of the text box. I have looked in the search but have found no help. I've also tried combinations of stretching the box using Alt, Ctrl and Shift.

What I have is a text box with Arial 10 justified. I make the box wider and the text distorts. How to I increase the width of the box but leave the text "normal"?

Make sure you're using the Text Tool to widen the box, not the Selection Tool
