Layer pop-up transition effects.

i have been just playing about with this as per steve ledgers tweak http://board.xara-users.info/viewtop...&t=218&start=0and noticed that the text on my (lock)pop uplayer becomes very much reduced in quality if you put a transitonal effect in e.g (fade 3) or (fade-in 2) (fade-out 5). It does not make a difference where it is placed it still is reduced in quality by about 25-50%i.e

(lock)pop uplayer (fade 3) or (lock)pop uplayer (fade-in 2) (fade-out 5) or
(fade 3)(lock)pop uplayer or (fade-in 2) (fade-out 5) (lock)pop uplayer

Is there anything i am doing wrong or just is this a normal behaviour?
