cant read XAR file ERROR

hello everybody,

just got this ERROR and now the XAR File will not open. Another user had the same problem but looks like a different ERROR number.

it is a 30-35 weed control manual it is nothing great yet... just a lot of pictures and directions. not done yet but do have 3 days on it. i would hate to have to start over.

i attached the file and screen shot

i down loaded the EXPANDER xar file, but it did not seem to work.

i also copied the file to a flash drive to see if i can open the file on a different system. i can not attach it ... says file is to large.?????

First, have you tried File>>Open Recent>>Backups ?

Rizwan Butt - From the File menu, select Open Recent... and at the bottom of the menu, select Backups...

This opens a folder with backup files. Xara by default saves a backup every ten minutes. Try opening some of the backup files.

If one opens and it is OK, then save it with the same name as your corrupted file.

The OP, shows in Post #1 that he's using Xtreme Pro 5.

Xtreme didn't have the option of saving Backups?!

So, I'm a bit puzzled, as his profile shows that he's using much newer software.
