The World - from space

I was having a go at drawing a simple globe and thought it might look good from a space point of view - with a few stars!

Then I put a compass on it (which I had drawn previously) to see what it would look like?!

What do you think?

What if the compass has some transparency? Like in the center with the outside totally opaque. It might marry the two images more.

Well, I've had a go at applying transparency to the centre and opaque at the edge.

Well, only you guys can judge how it looks?!
