Trying to make a stone wall

I'm trying to make a stone wall for a landscape I'm doing, this is what I have but I'm not quite sure I like it. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make it better I've attached my xara file so you can get an idea of what I did. My layers are kind of confusing sorry.

to quickly create stones simply draw your stone shapes and give them a dark greyish brown colour then clone (ctrl+K) and give the clone a light colour. Open the fill gallery and look in the stone fills. Select your clone and select a stone fill and click the transp button to apply a bitmap transparency. Feather the clone to give a touch of depth.

You can create a variety of different shaped stones and vary the stone transp and the colour and then stack them to create your wall

Frances has the right solution. Even if all the stones are of the same material, each will be different.
