    Red face drawing eyelashes

Is there a workbook for drawing eyelashes using the blend tool or is there a better way without drawing each individual lash.

I'd actually draw them all freehand, using say a raindrop stroke shape, which would be quicker for me, and give a more natural result

if you use a blend :

you need to apply it to a curve [unless you have square eyes ] - thats quite possible of course

you then need to set the differences in distances, unless you are happy with uniform spacing....

and then you need to convert to editable shapes and tweak the sizes...

and then the spacing again maybe.... and so on

BTW: unless you have dozens of them it might be quicker to clone and nudge/drag to position rather than blend - just a thought

[edit - just noticed this is in off topic chat - I've assumed its xara xtreme/designer you are using]

and you can set the duplicate distance: horizontal to spacing distance and vertical to zero: duplicate the number you need, and then nudge/drag the middle ones up..
