Default Anchor object to text and repel text

I'm using DP6 as a DTP for my newsletter. In general it's doing the job fine. One annoyance is:

Here's my question: Has anyone found a workaround for anchoring a picture to the associated text with the repel option active?

Here's more detail: I have a number of articles in the newsletter written by various folks. I like to include a photo of the author along with each article and repel the text around the picture. That works fine until I insert some text in the middle somewhere that pushes the following text down and leaves the picture behind. Anchoring the picture to the text works but not with the repel option. Thank you, Peter

Its either one or the other

I have a tip that may or may not work in your situation.

    • Set your pic (position and size) using repel text till your paragraphs look tidy.
    • Set text tabs in the ruler so that they will hold the text in position when the pic is removed.
    • Cut pic and paste as an anchored object.
