    xdp6 Node handles

It would be nifty if there were a way to adjust the size of the node handles, or the pixel range within which they are activated when clicking on or near them (if there is an option for this somewhere, please let me know because I seem to have missed it).

Often I am using the Shape Editor tool (absolutely the #1 most used tool for the kind of work I do), and when I go to click on a handle to move it, the system seems to think I've not clicked near enough to it, and it doesn't register. If it's an end node that happens to be selected, the result of this is that it draws another line segment, which I have to then Undo. If it's any other node, it ends up unselecting the desired node, and I have to click to reselect it. Half a second either way, I know, but when it happens dozens of times in a row, it can add up.

    Hi Ben,

You can change the size of the nodes (called Blobs in the Registry) by using XaReg.

The attached .zip contains a Work In Progress version of XaReg.

There are still some known bugs that need to be corrected in the Reset to Defaults code, but the rest of the code is working well. Still a few more features I want to add before making a full release.

BTW this version support saving your customised toolbars and loading them back if you need to do a reinstall or a new patch release from Xara that resets the toolbars.

XaReg will not allow you to load custom toolbars from an older version to a newer version or newer to older. So you must setup your custom toolbars and save them for use when your toolbars are reset to default.

    Thanks Tom, John, and Marc.

BTW XaReg has not been updated since last August so the feature for saving and loading Controlbars has been available for a while now.
