Paste attributes for text

I have been trying to copy/paste attributes from one text object to another (using Ctrl+Shift+A). The colour and font copy correctly but not any other attributes (bevel, contour, etc) that I've applied to the original text. Am I expectiung too much? Thanx.

From Help - Copying Styles: Paste Attributes

Note: Most attributes can be copied this way, including shadows, feather values, fill styles, live effects, etc. However bevels can only be copied from one object to another if the object the bevel is copied to has already a bevel to apply the bevel attributes to.
