web pages will send up, but will not work

I am new to this so sorry if this has been asked before. I have made 2 new web sites for 2 diff host. (godaddy and hostmonster). I have been able to upload the 2 new web pages to both, but when you look up the webpages, the old pages are still showing. I used filezilla and see that the pages went up, but do not know why they will not work to show new webpages. I am new to this, so thanks for any help i can get.

Make sure that they are uploaded to the correct location, and use CTRL refresh to reload the cache. Typically if the old pages are still showing, then the pages aren't uploaded correctly.

Also check that the new index file is named the same as the old one. If you have index.htm, and index.html, they will both exist, and not overwrite each other. If I remember rightly, the index.htm will load first. If you do have both, delete the unused one.
