Seems to me if you can manage the copy from the original file, you can manage the regsvr on the original file. Copying it just stores up trouble for the future.

Hop into the root of C: and delete the dll (just housekeeping really)

beretgascon: Another option would be to open Explorer, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Xara\Xara_Designer_Pro_6\, and hold Shift while you Right-Click on the XaraDLLs folder, and select Open Command Window Here. Then you can run regsvr32 on the file, and all is good.

PhilM: That did indeed fix the issue. I've since seen thumbnails pop up on .xar files I've edited & saved. Thanks!
