Playing with shapes and colors

Here is a little visual walk-through of how I created these shapes.

Start with a star with 40 points. Drag the center nodes until it creates a shape you like. Use a circular transparency to fade the center of the star. Clone the star and change the cloned stars color. Decrease the transparency in the center of the colored store. Rotate the clones star to reveal the star behind.

Created a colored sphere to put the star over. Clone the colors sphere and change the color. Feather the top sphere to reveal the color of the bottom sphere. Put the star on top of the two spheres and adjust.

That's basically how I did it.
