Thread: Design Fault?

  1. #1

    Default Design Fault?

Why oh why does Xara MOVE items that are pasted from one layer to another. There is just no reason to do this.

    Can we get it fixed?

I regard it as a bug?!?

    Hi phpdesigner,
If i realy understand what you meant, so i can say that before you pasted your objects, you have selected the wrong layer, also if that is then not from Xara, you must select the right layer ( making it active ) before you start to paste your objects.

I think the OP means that if you select three elements on three seperate layers, copy them and then paste, they don't get pasted back to the same seperate layers they were copied from, but go into the currently active layer.

It would be nice to have the choice.
