word file importing ai cs3

I have a ms word file which sent me one of my client i have to make a signage but it is a word doc. and i have make a flexface signage in ai. so please guyz let me know what option to bring this word file into ai.

Depends what's actually in the word document, if it's just an inserted bitmap then you will need to trace it in ai if you need a scalable vector, so a simple screen grab might be enough?
Or you could try printing to PDF from word, then import the PDF into AI.

Try following.

In Word:
1. Open document.
2. Ctrl+C

In AI:
1. Ctrl+V

And since you own CS3 and follow John's instructions you could use "Live Trace" feature and get a usable logo out of it. AI will import most things from a word doc. with a Ctrl+C easily even tables although they are a pig to edit.
