    Default Navbars: width of submenu

Is there a way to control the width of submenu buttons independently from the main buttons?
It might be ok for a horizontal navbar with the submenu below the main button, but with vertical orientation and the submenu flying out to the right or the left, short text looks a bit lost on a wide button.

No. There is also no way to control the justification of the text.

But we can always hope for next time.

I agree that the short text on wide flyout doesn't look very good and that hopefully this will get looked at in next version.

As a possible work-a-round maybe you could make the flyout menu background and background (over) the same color as the page. This would only of course only work if your flyout text isn't going over the top of other text or images on your page.

The only way to really control this is to create your buttons from scratch and use pop up layers for the fly out or drop down menus.

This method works and is very effective if you don't mind putting in a lot of extra effort.

Currently, sub menu buttons can only have a solid color and no effects such as bevels or extrusions. I agree that more flexibility would be very desirable.
