    Default Embedded Picasa Gallery

    Hi All
Have successfully embeded a couple of Picasa galleries in a new WD6 site and the concept works fine with one exception. Once the images have been viewed the display reverts to adding a > symbol (see attached screen grab). If the viewer click this they are taken out of the site to the online Picasa Gallery. I dont want this to happen. The same thing happens if the viewer clicks on any picture parhaps looking for it to enlarge.

    Any thought most welcomed.

Embeded Picasaweb slideshows are Googles feed, their rules rule

You might like to use a different slideshow creator such as Photo Flash Maker Free Version

    Thanks Sledger
I liked the concept that my client could easily update their own pics on something like Picasa easily and this would instantly update the web gallery. Thought I might be able to get round Google rules.

Thanks for the link I have a few galleries that I can use but I'll check this one out too.
    Cheers

You could add a transparent rectangle in-front of the picasaweb slideshow window with an URL of your own choosing (or none at all, or a popup message etc and so on).
But you first must add WMODE="transparent" to the google embed code.

    See attached file.
