    I think it's about as ready it can be. Texturing is the next step. And consructive critique is welcome as usual.

    Well, since you have taken things this far ya gotta go all the way... button tuff this baby

    Naw, seriously, the modeling here is really good as you know from doing so... I mean ya even have the springs going here... which when I thinx about it I think that if I made a model that was as nice as this, and had as much detail as this one does already, then I would really consider going all the way... glove box. button tuff, doors, soft top buttoned down, door handles, right out to some sort of metal high polished grill... there ya asked for it

    but hey, carry on and texture this baby, maybe we will see some of these features painted in...

    great stuff here Paul I wouldn't have suggested the modifications and additions if I didn't think the model was worth the effort, but rather because it is... capital Wings modeling here... I am inspired to say the least [thumbs up and beer chugs ]... this little buggy rocks

    considering it's poly pushing it's just fabulous. BTW, seeing your picture tells us that you **must** be a European - you've used a stick shift ;-} and three pedals.

    I could imagine some people are scratching their heads thinking: ah, what the heck is that stick between the seat for?

    ;-}

    Come on guys from the 'new world' - send flames... fun aside, here is a true story: an American friend visited us a few months ago. I picked him up with my truck and guess what he asked? What are those two sticks for? Wow, and you have 4 pedals - what function do they have? <sigh> Ok, I must admit that my offroader is a real offroader, not one of the modern couches on four wheels - hahahahaha.

    Oh, before you'll ask: the fourth pedal is there to give the left foot a rest, next to the clutch pedal for faster reactions in dirt and on off off trails. It's my own custom addition to the 2.8 ton beast ;-}

    All questions answered? ok, cut, tilt.

    Very nice .....{we need a thumbsup smily}

    I think its needs a bit of scaling along the Z axis,the reason I say that is because an engine and the resulting gearbox hump in the floor {ie stickshift configuration} in scale would come back to about the front or alomost just in front where the front seat starts.If you scale it along the Z a bit though this will be fine once more

    We also have no indication of what is holding the guards up off of the wheels.

    The make up of a Lotus Seven etc should give you some more scale/design ref .

    A bit OT - I cant remember the name of the car I am thinking of {could be a Lotus seven} anywhere they are faster than the super cars at getting from 0 - 60 mph,from then on though its a different story.When you buy one they make sure you can handle it ok first as these thing are like lethal whiplash their acceleration is just so fast .

    I think you mean Lotus or Morgan plus 8. They both feature a wooden body, the Lotus comes with a 4 cylinder engine, whereas the Morgan plus 8 has an 8 cylinder monster.

    You can't just go to a dealer and purchase a Lotus - you have to apply for it. After they have thouroughly screened you, you'll be invited to the factory where you select the colors (either green or white), the spoke wheels or standard wheels etc. Then you'll have to wait at least 6 months. And you **must** pick up your babe in person!

    The Morgan plus 8 is a different story - you just need enough cash and a very long breath: delivery time a year...

    Here is more info:

    The new plus 8

    All Morgan details:

    And then start to dream...<sigh>

    Thanks jens

    The name Morgan did pop into my head but I thought I had the wrong manufacturer.

    Ooooh baby 300 bhp...ooooh makes me weak kneed

    More OT - When my brother was younger and lived in Sussex England,he had a boss who was mega rich in construction or something,anyway this guy had an Aston Martin Vantage V8 with some after market bits and pieces.So his boss took him for a spin and they are driving along and there is a car in front and a truck not to far away coming towards him,so his boss swings out into the traffic and nails the beast then swings back into the traffic again with heaps of room to spare after passing the car.My brother really thought they were dead and he said the G forces were incredible just because of the power of the monster,he said you could not move in your seat you were just thrown back into it.I said like a 350 or 400 chev something like that?,and he laughed and said try 10 times the power of one of those A mate of mine used to have a performance 350 chev with all the go fast bits around a fibreglass body,and that thing was insanely fast,but 10 x more torque eek
