    Default My Work, #2

I had posted a link to some YouTube videos in this forum, because they showcased a bunch of work that was done using Xtreme, and therefore belonged in this forum. Steve moved it to Off-topic, as if it didn't showcase Xtreme's capabilities. For those who would like to discuss the Xtreme aspects, please do so in this thread.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hi David,

Are you able to post some of the work you did in Xtreme?
I'm sure many members don't have the time to watch for backdrops through all three videos..

Examples of work performed in Xtreme:

    - Backdrops retouched using the photo levels tool.

    - Image compositing. An example is the moon in the first five seconds of each video. It was overlaid using transparent PNGs created in Xtreme (as were the planets in the Days of the Week video).

    - All of the text work was done in Xtreme.

    - Masking of the video background was performed using Xtreme, in order to clip out non-transparent areas in the original videos.

    - Screen shots were cropped using Xtreme.

    - Various illustrations were created, such as the following:

Thank you, Gray. Coming from you, that is a high compliment.

By the way, the image I posted in this thread is simply a recreation of one of Kepler's, prettied up using Xtreme. I hope that if you watch the videos, you think they are beautiful too. If you like interesting thinking, here is some more about Kepler's thoughts written in the 1930s.

Best wishes, now I'm back to work.
    David
