I thought I'd stir up this brew that is the 3D forum.

Attached to this message is a dxf file of a fire hyrant. I modeled it a few years ago when I needed to demonstrate something that ruins a scene. And wouldn't you know, I could not find one stinking fire hydrant with my camera--so I just put it into a natural (perfect scene).

This file is FREE...I give up all claims to my sole ownership of the model.

Macintosh users will need StuffIt Expander to expand the Zip file, but dxf is ASCII in nature, so the model is cross-platform compatible...the way stuff should be.

I'll be posting other free dxf files as soon as I go through about 15 folders on my drives labeled "closet".

    Cheers,

    Gary,

Thanks for the model and your work and time you spend on this forum.
