Hi Harry.

2018 is only at the bidding stage.

Many cities in the UK have made a bid - Birmingham, Newcastle, Sunderland, London and so on.
As have many others around the world. Japan, USA, Russia, Portugal etc...

So, when FIFA decide, of course I am going to have a go!
Having done the last two, then temptations would be too great to ignore.

The symbol is said to represent the first “Green World Cup”, while attempting to represent the “happiness, colour and welcoming nature” of Brazil.
Also note how very fitting that it would be in the shape of the World Cup trophy given the host.
