As many have pointed out, it's a matter of contrast: If I work on print stuff, the new interface is horrific. If I do photo stuff (or dark web site graphics), the new UI is better than the old.
Yet more reasons to make them switchable easily.

Hi Everybody,
I agree with #81 that both UI should be included but the important thing is that there should be an easy switch between both.
As it is now the: CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + S is a bit awkward and looks like some high priority secret rather than the easy switch.
When you fix that it will be just as it should be: Flexible and Userfriendly

There are 10 types of people in this world .... Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
There should be a vote option for BOTH
or even neither.
However, I liked the old option but new dark is growing me.
Especially with the ALT SHIFT CONTROL S swap option.
The problem with the swap option is that it resets all the toolbars to their default positions, which makes it useless [not that I'd ever change back from the new, professional UI].
I don't really have a strong preference except that I like to load a color pallet to the color line on the interface. When I do, and try to use the dark gray interface, there is so little contrast of the slider, that I find it very difficult to see the darn thing. It is much clearer in the light interface, but I don't like using an unsupported feature. Since I am not going to change the way I work, my choice seems to be to stay with 5X and wait and hope Xara improves the interface.
