menus of navbar misbehave when in a div tag with position absolute

Please show me how i can make the menus of my navbar appear when i insert it into a div tag with absolute position. Thanks

The submenus shows far away and disconnected when I wrap a div tag with absolute or relative position around it. I doesn't even work when i put a table inside the div tag and insert the navbar into it. If i decide to remove the div tag or it's absolute position from it, It will greatly affect my layout and my pages will have to be reconstructed...(virtually redesigning the whole website). Please I'm begging you to help me resolve this. Thank You
