Xara Xone Workbook 83 - New Xara Designer Pro 6 - First Look.

Xara Xtreme is now Xara Designer and it comes in two versions, Magix Photo and Graphic Designer 6 and Xara Designer Pro 6.

This Special Edition Workbook (didn't I just do one of these a few weeks ago?

) focuses on Xara Designer Pro 6. There is a lot of cool new stuff plus all the great website tools that were introduced in Xara Web Designer 6.

Great First Look Gary!

I noticed the Area rounding error on my Intel based system, but on my AMD based system the Area is calculated correctly. Maybe it is processor related?

Maybe the developers can explain it.

I have a question to clarify the porducts
Xara Xtreme Pro is now called Photo & Graphic designer 6?
Just so I don't purchase the wrong one LOL

Jim the non-pro version is Photo & Graphics Designer.

The Pro version is Xara Designer Pro.

Bill - You have download both. Does the Magix product have website support? Or is it more focused on graphics and photo editing?

The Magix version does not have the web features.

It also does not support Pantone Colours, export to PDF/X, and a few others I can't remember at the moment.
